Investigators are still looking into the background of the two shooters that murdered innocent civilians in San Bernardino, California. Syed Rizwan Farook and Malik, both of Pakistani origin, were armed with semi-automatic weapons and tactical gear when they initiated their attack. Farrok was born in the American city of Chicago, but Malik had only recently immigrated to the United States using a fiance visa.

Although Malik was born in Pakistan, it is also believed that she spent time in Saudi Arabia. She is reported to have studied at the Bahuddin Zakri University in Multan and was said to have a brilliant mind.

Malik met Farook over the internet, and they developed a relationship with each other. Farook had made several trips to the Middle East, and it was a July 2014 visit that he brought his bride-to-be back with him to the United States.

Using a nonimmigrant K-1 visa, otherwise known as a fiance visa, Malik was able to gain entry into the country. The visa allows for a U.S. citizen to import a fiance into the country on the condition that the two will be married within 90 days.

The Obama administration has repeatedly claimed that they have a rigorous and successful vetting process to screen out those who are planning on committing terrorist attacks once they reach the United States.

However, Malik was able to beat those rigorous standards with a false address in Pakistan. ABC reports that although the family did own a house in the neighborhood of the address on the application, the address itself was incorrect.

The Pakistani woman, after passing successfully through the Obama administrations screening process, was able to join her husband to commit the largest terrorist attack on American soil since 9/11.

This has become another proof that Barack Obama is making a mistake by importing 10,000 Syrian refugees without a reliable system in place that would allow the immigrants to be vetted. It is a mistake that may cost more American lives when all is said and done.
