DHS Forms ‘Disinformation Governance Board’ Headed By Russia Collusion Hoaxer

When police, law makers, judges, government departments break and ignore the law they have sworn to uphold, then there isn't any law - just a fight for survival.

These days so many governments around the planet seem to be having a lot of trouble following their own rules, and seem to believe in selective enforcement, this section is here to try to help people find ways (preferably non-violent ways) to survive the tyranny.

DHS Forms ‘Disinformation Governance Board’ Headed By Russia Collusion Hoaxer
Actual disinformation agent to helm government ‘disinformation’ Ministry of Truth board aimed at policing free speech.

Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security has formed a “Disinformation Governance Board” headed by a proponent of the thoroughly debunked Russia collusion hoax, according to reports.

The aim of the DHS Disinformation Governance Board will be to combat narratives the government doesn’t like, specifically regarding the illegal alien invasion of the U.S. southern border and the Ukraine-Russia conflict.

DHS is standing up a new Disinformation Governance Board to coordinate countering misinformation related to homeland security, focused specifically on irregular migration and Russia. Nina Jankowicz will head the board as executive director.

She previously was a disinformation fellow at the Wilson Center, advised the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry as part of the Fulbright Public Policy Fellowship and oversaw Russia and Belarus programs at the National Democratic Institute.

Jankowicz, a part-time professor at Syracuse University, lists herself as an “expert on disinformation and democratization” in her bio.

“Honored to be serving in the Biden administration @DHSGov and helping shape our counter-disinformation efforts,” she tweeted Wednesday.

Notably, Jankowicz helped perpetuate the Hillary Clinton-contrived Russia collusion hoax against Donald Trump on Twitter in 2018.

A Russia collusion hoaxer heading a DHS board aimed at policing disinformation on social media is deeply ironic and Orwellian.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) signaled Wednesday on Twitter that she would further investigate the newly-created DHS board’s role in policing free speech.

The DHS released new guidelines in March to combat “extremist” behavior on social media, including policing “conspiracy theories” and “narratives” that question the rigged 2020 presidential election, the COVID-19 plandemic and vaccine mandates.

This comes amid the Biden administration’s dramatic shift toward policing social media companies in response to billionaire “free speech absolutist” Elon Musk purchasing Twitter for $44 billion.

The creation of this anti-free speech board is the latest move by the Biden administration to criminalize the First Amendment in the name of national security.

Summary of Terrorism Threat to the U.S. Homeland

The United States remains in a heightened threat environment fueled by several factors, including an online environment filled with false or misleading narratives and conspiracy theories, and other forms of mis- dis- and mal-information (MDM) introduced and/or amplified by foreign and domestic threat actors. These threat actors seek to exacerbate societal friction to sow discord and undermine public trust in government institutions to encourage unrest, which could potentially inspire acts of violence. Mass casualty attacks and other acts of targeted violence conducted by lone offenders and small groups acting in furtherance of ideological beliefs and/or personal grievances pose an ongoing threat to the nation. While the conditions underlying the heightened threat landscape have not significantly changed over the last year, the convergence of the following factors has increased the volatility, unpredictability, and complexity of the threat environment: (1) the proliferation of false or misleading narratives, which sow discord or undermine public trust in U.S. government institutions; (2) continued calls for violence directed at U.S. critical infrastructure; soft targets and mass gatherings; faith-based institutions, such as churches, synagogues, and mosques; institutions of higher education; racial and religious minorities; government facilities and personnel, including law enforcement and the military; the media; and perceived ideological opponents; and (3) calls by foreign terrorist organizations for attacks on the United States based on recent events.

DHS Releases New Rules on Extremism, Will Target Anyone Who Questions 2020 Election or Challenges COVID Narrative

The Department of Homeland Security has released new guidelines on “extremist” behavior, which include questioning the 2020 presidential election or promoting “conspiracy theories” about the COVID pandemic and mandates.

The memo, titled Report to the Secretary of Homeland Security Domestic Violent Extremism Internal Review: Observations, Findings, and Recommendations claims the “sociopolitical developments” of the 2020 election and the COVID pandemic could “spur domestic violent extremists” to “engage in violence.”

https://www.dhs.gov/news/2022/03/11/dhs ... -extremism

A March 2021 unclassified threat assessment prepared by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), Department of Justice, and DHS, noted that domestic violent extremists “who are motivated by a range of ideologies and galvanized by recent political and societal events in the United States pose an elevated threat to the Homeland in 2021.”

The assessment pointed to newer “sociopolitical developments such as narratives of fraud in the recent general election, the emboldening impact of the violent breach of the U.S. Capitol, conditions related to the COVID-19 pandemic, and conspiracy theories promoting violence” that “will almost certainly spur some [domestic violent extremists] [sic] to try to engage in violence this year.”

Notably, over half of the U.S. population question or doubt the results of the 2020 presidential election.

The guidance also calls for more funding for the DHS’ “Insider Threat Program” to identify and purge any DHS employees who “may be displaying early indicators of extremist behavior or may be radicalizing to violence.”

“Additional funding is necessary to resource these efforts, as this will greatly enhance the Department’s ability to identify and address violent extremist activity and protect from insider threats,” the memo states.

“Further, other gaps that limited our ability to collect and validate data included…guidance as to what constitutes violent extremist activity, or an established list of behaviors that may be indicators of violent extremism.”

Meanwhile, the DHS openly breaks the law by opening up the U.S. border and allowing millions of unvetted illegal aliens to stream in to America since Joe Biden took office.

Because the DHS neglects its basic duties of border security, the U.S. also made record-low deportations over the last year — the lowest since 1995.

Interestingly, the memo acknowledges the DHS struggles to define exactly what “extremist behavior” actually means.
