And people wonder why I say never automatically take any official statement as being truthful and accurate.

In this case, I would personally lean heavily towards a set of events that needs to be investigate as a cover up and potentially a murder.

Especially since the parents apparently had to 'steal' their son's body from the funeral home in order to get a private autopsy.

If something was not being blocked why did they need to sneak the body out?

I also say good for the parents having the good sense to record the conversations with the military officials. Personally if the
government can record us without our permission when they are talking to us, then I see no problem with recording them when we are talking to them.

Military school says student died of heart attack, parents find organs missing in secret autopsy

A student was recently found dead with some of his internal organs missing at the Armed Forces Academies Preparatory School and his parents are demanding answers.

The boy, 18-year-old Pakapong Tanyakan, 18, died on Oct. 17. He was in his first year at the prestigious school. His parents, Pichet and Sukanya Tanyakan, told the media yesterday that they were given no other details on their son’s death. The death certificate presented to the couple, who are professional racecar drivers, seemed suspicious and only stated that the healthy young man died of cardiac arrest.

Due to their suspicions, the couple had their son’s body secretly autopsied in Chonburi after it was released for funeral rites.


Though the cremation had been scheduled for Oct. 24, the couple snuck the body to the hospital and, unbeknownst to others, the coffin remained at the temple empty.

The autopsy revealed that the boy’s heart, stomach, bladder, and brain were missing and his skull had been stuffed with tissue paper. He also had a broken rib, two broken collarbones, and internal bruising on his stomach and back.


Doctors said that the broken rib and bruising could not have occurred during CPR administration but likely by being beaten before his death.

The parents are demanding answers about what happened to their son and that the missing organs be returned.

They told media that their son said he had been severely disciplined at the school and that, one time, he was punished so badly that his heart stopped beating.


Sukanya shared that her son told her that he had been forced to stand on his head in the bathroom and had gone into shock on a previous occasion.

The couple also played a recording they had made from a conversation between themselves and the school after they learned about the missing organs.

This case still has a long way to go before the villains are brought to justice.

Seems there are a lot more questions and answers to this case.

And the officials do not want to talk. Just a random thought I wonder how many curious deaths there have been at this military school. I wonder whose idea it was to cremate the body? As this would remove any evidence of organs being removed from other 'sudden' deaths. Heart transplants? stomach transplant? research with brain cells?

The mystery thickens.

Military school admits to keeping dead student’s organs for examination

At a press conference yesterday afternoon, the Thai military admitted to keeping the heart, brain, and stomach of a healthy cadet that allegedly died of a sudden heart attack on Oct. 17 while attending the Armed Forces Academies Preparatory School.


The missing organs were never mentioned to the boy’s parents, Pichet and Sukanya Tanyakan, but they were suspicious about his death so they took his body to be examined a second time. That’s when they confronted the school about the missing organs, reported Thai PBS.


Military officials Supreme Command spokesman Lt. Gen. Notthapol Boonngarm, commander of the Armed Forces Academies Preparatory School Maj. Gen. Kanokpong Channuan, and doctors from Army Medical Department and Phramongkutklao Hospital met media yesterday and admitted they had taken the organs — they said they did it to further examine them to determine the cause of death, despite it already having been deemed sudden cardiac arrest.

The parents of Pakapong Tanyakan, 18, doubt the military’s story and call the missing organs further proof that something untoward happened to their son, who they say reported he was being severely disciplined at the school before his death.

Maj. Gen Kanokpong said the family knew about what was being done with the body and that it was standard medical procedure.



Lt. Col. Narut Thongsorn, a doctor at the hospital’s Army Institute of Pathology, said, “His body had no signs of injuries at all so we partially removed some of his organs, like his brain and heart, for detailed examination,” reported The Nation.

However, as we reported yesterday, the boy’s parents said that the autopsy they had done showed that their son had two broken collarbones, a broken rib, and internal bruising at the time of death that could be indicative of being beaten.

Some how I have trouble with a sample being taken and multiple organs totally missing being a simple misunderstanding.

Military authorities are on the defensive after the autopsy of a dead cadet reportedly found that his organs and brains had been removed and the body showed signs of blunt force trauma.




Supreme Commander General Thanchaiyan Srisuwan had summoned the chief of the Armed Forces Academies Preparatory School (AFAPS) chief in Nakhon Nayok to explain the case involving deceased cadet Phakhapong “Moei” Tanyakan, Royal Thai Armed Forces headquarters spokesman Maj-General Nathaporn Boonngam said on Tuesday.

Thanchaiyan later told Nation TV that the claim that Phakhapong’s organs were missing was untrue and his parents had been told many times that the school had sent the body for an autopsy at Phra Mongkutklao Hospital, where a medical examiner had extracted small pieces of his organs for testing.

He said the case did not involve the theft of organs, adding that bandages found inside the body might have been left during the autopsy.



Thanchaiyan said the school and the family had held funeral rites involving an empty casket to make merit for the deceased cadet.

Ahead of meeting with Thanchaiyan on Tuesday, AFAPS commander Maj-General Kanokpong Channuan told reporters that the issue of missing organs was a medical matter linked to the autopsy.




He added that he, police and the parents had agreed to an autopsy to determine the cause of his “unnatural death”.

Kanokpong said he had prepared medical information to explain the situation to Thanchaiyan.

He added that he had not known that the family retained doubts about the cause of death and submitted the body for another autopsy, resulting in the report about missing organs.

He said he had attended to Phakhapong’s funeral rites every night until the cremation with fellow cadets and teachers.

The parents’ claim that Phakhapong had been subjected to physical punishment would, if true, indicate a crime had been committed violating military rules prohibiting cadets from being touched, Kanokpong said.

The parents, Pichet and Sukanya Tanyakan, have told the media that they had not received a detailed explanation on his cause their son’s death, a first-year cadet who died on October 17 one day after returning home from school.

The couple claimed that they only received a death certificate citing the cause of death as sudden cardiac arrest. When the subsequently requested an autopsy, a medical examiner found all of Phakhapong’s internal organs had been removed and cloth or tissue had been stuffed into the skull in place of the brain.

The parents also said the autopsy had found four broken ribs, internal bruises to the right abdomen and left side of the back, and two broken collarbones.

The medical examiner told them that their son’s ribs were probably not broken during CPR and the bruises appeared to be from blunt force trauma.
