Hate crimes - a lot are faked.

The new media and so many others are quick to report hate crimes.
But something that is not reported is how often the alleged crime was faked by the supposed victim.
A real crime is bad enough when it happens. But when the crime is faked it hurts everyone from the innocent person accused of the crime to future victims where something bad really happened.
