Think about what the health department staid

The health department claims his mother had taken a COVID-19 test on June 20.
So she came to the health department and some one physically tested her for CV-19.

Reasonable enough so far, except for one tiny tiny problem, The lady died and had been cremated back in February.

Can you say falsifying reports, especially against families which are speaking about about the health department's transparency and the false positive test results for CV 19? see the several news articles below.

Regardless of anything the health department might give as an excuse, how can anyone say a person who has been dead for several months, came to the testing facility and was tested in person according to the Health Department unless there are indeed zombies roaming around or there was a willful intent to cause harm and distress to this family?

I could see a notice letter suggesting she be tested, if they had said she might have come in contact with someone found to be CV +. However the moment they said, she was physically tested by the testing facility means there was willful forgery of government documentation as well as conspiracy to falsely deprive a person(s) of their rights and freedom by the health department. (

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A woman who has been dead six months received a letter this week from the health department saying she had tested positive for COVID-19.

Sandra Whittington died of COPD on February 16, weeks before the virus was detected near her Shelby County (Tenn.) home. However, her son says the family recently received a notice saying Whittington had tested positive and that she should isolate herself from others.

"I'm just having a hard time understanding how they can say someone has COVID-19 when they are not even alive," Troy Whittington, Sandra's son, told WATN.

Whittingham says the health department claims his mother had taken a COVID-19 test on June 20, about five months after she had passed away and been cremated.

According to WATN, the health department has apologized for its mistake and the pain it may have caused the family.

Tennessee Woman Who Died Six Months Ago Notified By Letter She Tested Positive For COVID-19

Troy Whittington received a letter this week telling him his mother had tested positive for COVID-19, and that she should isolate herself for 10 days. There was only one problem—she had been dead for nearly seven months.

Whittington received the letter from the Shelby County, Tennessee Health Department (SCHD) this week, telling him that his mother had been tested on June 20, according to WATN-TV. However, Sandra Whittington died of COPD on February 16.

The first case of COVID-19 was detected in Shelby County on March 8, according to a SCHD press release, two weeks after Sandra Whittington died. As of publication, Shelby County has seen 27,410 cases of COVID-19, and 393 deaths from the disease, according to the Johns Hopkins University Coronavirus Tracker.

"I'm just having a hard time understanding how they can say someone has COVID-19 when they are not even alive," Troy Whittington told WATN.

Though the letter told the late Sandra Whittington to isolate herself for 10 days, if the letter were accurate, she would have been tested over 60 days before receiving her results.

"We're talking two months later. She needs to be quarantined for 10, well we've got 60 days from the time of the test to get the letter out to her which is unacceptable," Whittington said.

The SCHD apologized and told Newsweek it was looking at its procedures to keep a situation like this from happening again.

"Shelby County Health Department Director Dr. Alisa Haushalter personally spoke with Mr. Whittington on Thursday and a letter of apology from her was sent to the family on Friday. As an agency, we are in the process of reviewing current procedures and are implementing additional safeguards that will help to prevent situations like this from occurring in the future," the SCHD said.

The coronavirus pandemic has given more than just positive test results to dead people. Earlier this summer, when the federal government issued coronavirus stimulus checks to Americans, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) reported that over $1.4 billion in checks were issued to the dead.

"To fulfill this mandate, Treasury officials said Treasury and IRS used many of the operational policies and procedures developed in 2008 for the stimulus payments, and therefore did not use the death records as a filter to halt payments to decedents in the first three batches of payments," the GAO's report states.

The GAO said that overall, the government issued more than 160 million payments, with a total cost of $269.3 billion.

A potential second stimulus check could come this fall, though there is a stalemate between Republicans and Democrats. Democrats want to earmark $2.2 trillion for coronavirus relief, while Republicans and President Donald Trump want to spend $1.3 trillion.

After weeks of an impasse, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin have agreed to restart negotiations after the Labor Day holiday.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Shelby County man questions what is going on at the Shelby County Health Department.

His mother died six months ago, but the health department just sent her a letter saying she is COVID-19 positive.

Troy Whittington said he was surprised when he opened the letter this week from the Shelby County Health Department. He knew what was in that letter was false.

"I'm just having a hard time understanding how they can say someone has COVID-19 when they are not even alive," said Whittington.

Whittington said a letter arrived from the Shelby County Health Department for his mother, Sandra Whittington. The letter says she has been diagnosed as COVID positive and needed to isolate.

That would be difficult, according to her obituary: the 66-year-old died February 16th. That was weeks before the first case of COVID-19 was detected in Shelby County.

"It's been 6 months, almost 7, since she passed away. There was no testing that was done at that time. On her death certificate it was stated she died, what the cause of death was, and it was not COVID-19. It was COPD," said Whittington.

The Millington resident said his mom fought a long battle with COPD and was considered in stage 4 when she died in hospice at the home of a friend.

Whittington said when he called the health department, he was told she took a COVID-19 test June 20th, which was clearly impossible. She was cremated.

"It's impossible for someone to be tested on June 20, who passed away on February 16th," said Whittington. "I tried to call the health department this morning, ask them why this was going on. She said she would have to get a supervisor. She was sorry for the mistake or she couldn't tell me any information till she got a supervisor, and I haven't heard back from them."

Whittington said this situation makes him question not only the Shelby County Health Department's COVID 19 statistics, but statistics across the country.

"I would just like for the health department to be more accurate." He added, "They have a record of her death there. That is where I got the death certificate from and it's in the same building they're sending out saying she is positive, which is not possible."

Whittington also would like to point out, if his mom had been alive and tested positive, why did it take so long for the notification to go out?

"We're talking two months later. She needs to be quarantined for 10, well we've got 60 days from the time of the test to get the letter out to her which is unacceptable," said Whittington.

The Local I-Team reached out to the Shelby County Health Department. This was their response: "Dr. Haushalter is reaching out to Mr. Whittington to apologize on behalf of the Health Department about the mistake and the additional pain it might have caused the family. She also states that new protocols will be put in place to make sure a mistake like this doesn’t happen again in the future."

The letter, sent by the health department in Tennessee, stated that the woman tested positive for COVID-19 several months after her death.

According to WATN-TV, Sandra Whittington died in February, before the novel virus was even detected in the state of Tennessee.

The outlet notes that she died in hospice care with the cause of death listed as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Now, several months after her death, her family opened a letter from the health department that said she was tested on June 20 and returned a positive result. It also indicated that she needed to isolate.

“I’m just having a hard time understanding how they can say someone has COVID-19 when they are not even alive,” her son Troy Whittington told the news outlet.

"It's been 6 months, almost 7, since she passed away. There was no testing that was done at that time. On her death certificate it was stated she died, what the cause of death was, and it was not COVID-19. It was COPD," he added.

He said that his mom fought a long battle with COPD and was listed as stage 4.

Since the story broke, the Shelby County Health Department apologized for the error.

Troy, however, still thinks it’s odd that it took two months to get results from a test that allegedly took place in June.

“We’re talking two months later,” he said explaining that the delayed results don’t align with the mandatory quarantine protocols.

“She needs to be quarantined for 10, well we’ve got 60 days from the time of the test to get the letter out to her, which is unacceptable,” he said.

He's also concerned that this doesn't happen to another family.

"I would just like for the health department to be more accurate," Troy added. "They have a record of her death there. That is where I got the death certificate from and it's in the same building they're sending out saying she is positive, which is not possible."

In response to the mishap, the Shelby County Health Department said they have put in "new protocols will be put in place to make sure a mistake like this doesn’t happen again in the future," the outlet noted.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (NEXSTAR) — Family members of a woman who died seven months ago say they received a letter this week claiming their loved one tested positive for COVID-19.

What’s even more confusing is Sandra Whittington passed away in February before COVID-19 had been detected in Tennessee. She died in hospice care of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, according to WATN-TV.

“I’m just having a hard time understanding how they can say someone has COVID-19 when they are not even alive,” her son Troy Whittington said in an interview with WATN.

Whittingham said the notice from the local health department said his mother was tested on June 20 and that test came back positive.

“On her death certificate, it was stated she died, what the cause of death was, and it was not COVID-19. It was COPD,” Whittington said in the interview.

The Shelby County Health Department has since apologized for the error.

Even with the apology, Whittington can’t help but question why it took two months for results of the alleged June 20 test to be sent out.
