What is makrooh?

Terms and word definitions as they relate to Islam.

What is makrooh?

Makrooh in Arabic means the opposite of liked or loved.

In the Islamic religion it refers to the things that a Muslim should not do. However these things fall into a gray area, as the rules were not stated in a definitive manner.
