What is zabiba?

Terms and word definitions as they relate to Islam.

what is zabiba?

zebiba, zebibah


Zabiba is a mark on the forehead of a Muslim.

This mark is cause by the person doing the daily prayers (sujood).

The mark is caused by the repeated contact of the forehead to the prayer mat.

It is Derived from the word zabīb meaning "raisin" .
